Event Details

No Weak Link "V" is the longest running and largest Fitness competition in the Central New York area.

If you are looking for a well run, fun, and unique test of team fitness No Weak Links"V" is it,

Who:
Teams of four athletes two men and two women.
There will be Rx / Scaled / Masters (total team age is 156 and above)

What:
A well run and true test of General physical preparedness.
All teams with have three workouts to complete with the top teams advancing to the final "Dance Off".
The amount of teams that move to the finals will be determined by the number of teams in that division.

Where:
Our venue is a multi million dollar state of the art sports complex.

When:
Saturday February 3rd 2018
Registration / Bag Pick Up will be the day prior at CrossFit Mohawk Valley or that morning at Accerelate Sports starting at 7 AM.

Competition will kick off at 0800 sharp.


Why:
To find the most well rounded team of four athletes from across the North East. We work every year to provide the best competition in the area.


We will have a DJ, food, and vendors.
All athletes will recieve a T-Shirt and swag bag from our sponsors.






Event WODS

Tossin Sand

"Tossin Sand" 9 Min AMRAP 3.2.1 GO Your team will complete 100 total Sandbag (Rx) Slamball (Scaled/Masters) Over The Shoulder. Men will need to complete 50 total and Women will need to complete 50 total before moving on. One Male and one female will be working at the same time. Athletes can break it up how ever they see fit but each athlete has to do at LEAST 1 rep. With the time left in the 9 minutes your team will complete max burpee box jumps overs. The box jumps will not count unless the sandbags / slam balls are held off of the ground. Box jumps must be done as follows. First male 5 reps, second male 5 reps, first female 5 reps, second female 5 reps. Push the box 10 yards out bringing the sandbags/ slamballs with you. Complete two rounds of 5 Burpee Box Jumps per athlete done in the same pattern and order as the first. Push the box another 10 yards out. Continue this pattern for max reps. Your teams score will be total reps. Mens Rx weight 125 Sandbag / Womens Rx 75lb Sandbag Mens Scaled 50lb Slam Ball / Womens Scaled 30lb Slam Ball Mens Masters 75lb Sand Bag / Womens Masters 50lb Slam Ball Mens Rx must jump to 24 / Womens Rx must jump to 20 Mens Scaled and Masters step or jump to 24 / Womens Scaled or Masters can step or jump to 20.

Pullin Your Toes

No Weak Links "V" Workout 2 "Pullin Your Toes" In 8 Minutes: The Men will pull a weighted sled hand over hand 50 feet, once the sled has reached the 50 foot mark the females will then unload the mens weight leaving the womens weight on the sled. The women will then pull the sled in the remaining 50 feet until the sled has reached the endline. At this point the men will run the length of the soccer field to the rig. The men will execute 20 total Toes 2 Bar changing as often as needed. After the 20th rep is complete the men will run back the length of the soccer field and tag in the women. The women will then run to the rig and execute 20 total Toes 2 Bar. Your team will continue in this pattern of Toes 2 Bar and running until the time runs out. Toes To Bar will increase by 10 each round. 20 / 30 / 40 Etc. All weights DO NOT include the sled (40lbs). Mens Rx 315 Womens Rx 225 Mens Masters 270 Womens Masters 180 Mens Scaled 225 Womens Scaled 135 Rx Toes To Bar Scaled and Masters Hanging Knee Raises The hand over hand drag can be done seated or standing as long as the athlete doesn't go in front of the designated end line. You may change out as often as you would like on the hand over hand drag but only men can pull the mens load and women the womens load. Gloves are allowed and a great idea.

Ski Balls

"SKI BALLS" In 10 Minutes your team well Ski for max calories and execute max wall balls. Upon 3.2.1 go the Men will start by running to the rig and chipping away at 50 Wall Balls. This is 50 total between the two athletes and they can be broken up how ever the team chooses. At the same time the women are Skiing for max cals. Once the men have finished the 50 wall balls they will run back to where the women are skiing. The men will then drag the Ski Erg forward 20 yards and then they will ski for max cals while the women chip away at 50 total wall balls. Your team will continue this pattern as high as you can in the time allowed. Your teams score will be total wall balls plus total cals skied. Rx Men 30lbs to 10 feet Women 20lbs to 9 feet Masters Men 20lbs to 10 feet Women 14 lbs to 9 feet Scaled Men 14lbs to 10 feet Women 10lbs to 9 feet

Relay Shuttle Run

Relay Shuttle Run Each partner will run 1/3 of the width of the field then back to the start. Then 2/3 of the field and back to the start. Then the entire width of the field and back to the start. Then the next athlete will do the same. All athletes must complete the run. All athletes must physically touch the cone or the line with their hand.

Finals "The Dance Off"

*Rx Division* 2 Minutes of Max Syncro Bar Muscle Ups Male A - Female A both working at the same time. At the same time: 2 Minutes of Max Syncro Thrusters Male B - Female B both working at the same time. 2 Minutes rest in between and then the athletes will swap to the other movement. Mens Weight 185 Womens Weight 135 Score will be total Bar Muscle Ups + Total Thrusters. We will define synchronized as the athletes locking out the top portion of the Muscle Up or the Thruster at the same time. When the judge has determined they are BOTH good they will get a down command. *Masters Division* 2 Minutes Max Pull Ups Male A - Female A - One athlete working at a time NOT synchronized. At the same time: 2 Minutes of Max Thrusters Male B - Female B Both athletes these will be synchronized. 2 Minute Rest In Between and then the athletes will swap to the other movement. Mens Weight 115 Womens Weight 75 *Scaled* 2 Minutes Max Pull Ups Male A - Female A One athlete working at a time NOT synchronized. At the same time: 2 Minutes of Max Thrusters Male B - Female B Both athletes these will be synchronized. 2 Minute Rest In Between and then the athletes will swap to the other movement. Mens Weight 95 Womens Weight 65
